  I have been impressed by this church. The people are friendly and sincere. The Pastor preaches with authority from the King James Version but also cares for every person he meets. The church is family centered and is a "must visit" for anyone looking for a church.

  This church is not truly Fundamentalist. Very low dress standards, sometimes allows materials with other Bible versions, and sometimes allows contemporary music. Also, the pastor cannot be trusted. If you disagree with him, or if he "feels you don't trust him", he will try to show your e-mail correspondence with him to other church members to discipline you. He cannot be trusted. I have also caught him in a few lies. He is not the decider, he is the liar! Also, he has some of the most shallow preaching you will ever hear. He also baptizes people that are living with their girlfriend and not willing to repent.

  Praise the Lord for His Grace. I do not know a more gracious Pastor. He stands on the Word without wavering. A man that served his country and the Most High God.

  It has been a few years since I have visited. Last time I visited as a teenager (I wasn't even saved/a real Christian) I could tell that something wasn't right. The preaching wasn't done with authority (there were times when they stopped to discuss the passage, almost like it was up to opinions) and the dress standards were a little lax. Nevertheless, it did seem like there were a few families that were doing OK and seemed to be genuine believers. As a side note, my roommate worked out west as a part of the oil boom last summer and attended Dakota Baptist (also in Minot). Not trying to sow discord, but he said that that church is more solid. I think if I were to visit Minot again I would visit Dakota Baptist.
